BEIJING, Nov. 27 (Xinhua) -- Reporter Ye Haoming learns from the Central Air Traffic Management Office that to regulate unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) flight activities and effectively curb illegal flights such as unapproved "black flights", the office, together with the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, the Ministry of Public Security and other departments, will jointly establish a UAV electronic fence covering the entire administrative area of Beijing, which will take effect at 00:00 on December 1, 2025.
The Central Air Traffic Management Office calls on all UAV manufacturers to complete pre-loading of relevant data, and UAV users to consciously abide by laws and regulations and update data in a timely manner. Any illegal acts of deliberately sabotaging or evading the electronic fence will be severely punished by relevant authorities in accordance with the law.
